About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Northern Illinois University (NIU) in the U.S. Prior to joining NIU, I have completed my M.Sc. in Finance and Economics in addition to a B.Sc in Economics from Queen Mary University of London, UK.

My research interests are in the fields of  Econometrics, Public Economics and Labor Economics. My dissertation focuses on the impact of corporate taxes on industry employment, executive compensation and firm level research and development spending using a difference in difference set up.

Over the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to work on a number of incredible projects with multilateral institutions, think tanks and other government and non government agencies. This experience along with my passion for development has allowed me to grow and establish myself within this competitive industry. I hope you’ll enjoy viewing my projects as much as I enjoyed working on them.

My teaching interests include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Public Economics, Statistics, Mathematical Economics and Econometrics.
